Lash Extension Aftercare

Before Your Appointment

- Make sure your lashes are clean and free of any eye makeup.

-Avoid caffeine / stimulants so you can relax during your service.

Cancellation Policy

-In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, we sincerely ask for at lest 24 hours advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A 50% service fee will be charged for cancellation and rescheduling under 24 hours your appointment time. Your account will need to be paid before future appointments can be scheduled.

Last minute cancellations and no call no show takes away our opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.  Starting January 2018, a valid credit card is required to book for all full sets and lash lift & tint services. It's just to hold your appointment and there will be no charge unless I don't receive a 24 hour notice to change or to cancel your appointment.  All no call no show appointment will be charged for the full amount.

It is extremely difficult to predict how lashes are going to hold up on every individual person, and for that reason, it is our policy that we don't offer refunds. Thank you for understanding.

Lash Fill

-In order for your lash service to be considered as a"fill" you should have about 60% of extensions remaining for your 2 week fill, 50% remaining for 3 week fill and 40% remaining for your 4 week fill.  Any fill over 4 weeks will be a full set.

Lifestyle, medication and lash cycle are so vastly different. Your retention will also depend on how you take care of your extension. Keep them clean and brush them daily!  More time booked = fuller lashes. Your lash stylist will work on your lashes until the appointment time and if more time is needed, there is an option to add more time.

We control the humidity in our room and also the temperature. We replace our adhesive bottles sooner than the recommended time frame to keep our adhesive as fresh as possible ensure things are as controlled as possible on our end.

It is so important to follow the aftercare instructions and book your fill appointments ahead of time. Keep your extensions clean and brush them daily !  =)

Late Arrivals

-If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others who's appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your stylist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start your service. Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for the "full" session. Out of respect and consideration to your stylist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

FAQ

-What can I expect during my appointment?

Your appointment starts with a consultation with your lash stylist. After your consultation, your lash stylist will gently tape down the bottom lashes with a comfortable eye pad to separate your top lashes with your bottom lashes. If your lashes need extra cleaning from makeup or have any buildup, we will clean your lashes with a lash shampoo before we start your service to ensure the best retention possible.  After your lashes are clean and ready,  it's time for you to relax or even take a nap while your stylist works on your lashes.

-How long does the extensions last?

An average eye has between 90-120 lashes and an approximate 45-90 day life span.  Each eye naturally sheds between 2-5 lashes per day. Thus, in 1 week, that's an average of 21 lost lashes, 2 weeks 42 and 3 weeks 63. Be sure to schedule an appointment every 2-3 weeks for timely touch-ups to keep your lashes looking fresh. Any fill appointment over 4 weeks, 30 days max, will be a full set.

-Can I wear mascara or eyeliner with my extensions?

Don't use mascara, cream shadows and gel/ pencil liners. Mascara will be very hard to remove and can be very difficult as it builds up on your extensions. Stay away from any oil based makeup products because it can loosen up the adhesive bond and your extension won't last as long. We recommend wearing a felt tip eyeliner or powder shadow if you need to.

-Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?

Lash extensions will NOT damage your own lashes when it's done properly. Make sure to go to a certified lash specialist. Your extensions will not cause your natural lashes to come out. Your extensions will come off with your natural lash when your natural lash has reached the end of its cycle. It's perfectly normal to see your natural lashes fall with extensions attatched.

-Why do I need a full set if I come in for a fill with extensions from a different salon?

I will only do a fill on your extensions from a different salon/lash stylist if your extensions are applied correctly and the condition of your extensions are still in good shape. However, if your lashes are not in the best shape and it's not in the condition where I can fill them, we will need to do a full removal and start with a fresh set of lashes. Everybody does their lashes a little differently and we use different products. When I don't think I can give you the look you're looking for by filling in other peoples work, I will be honest with you. Please book for a removal and a full set if you know that your lashes are not in the best shape. It will save us so much time and you will be happier with the results . I can only do so much with your lashes if your coming with extensions that are done by a different stylist.
